Pacer is a seasoned commercial and energy lawyer. He routinely advises the firm’s clients on investment structures, regulatory compliance, local content and tax efficiency in project development across the energy industry. Pacer’s core area of practice is project documentation and risk management with a leaning towards gas related infrastructure developments (processing and petrochemical plants, pipelines and gas-fired IPPs), as well as gas/LPG and power offtake arrangements (GSPAs & PPAs). Pacer recently advised on major upstream oil & gas and mid-stream gas infrastructure M & As and continues to advise lenders on reserve based lending facilities for oil and gas upstream operations.

Prior to working at ADVISORY, Pacer was with the energy and projects practice of a leading commercial law firm in Nigeria, where he developed experience on energy sector M & As, upstream oil and gas joint ventures, local content structuring and oil and gas tax reviews and arbitration. Pacer also has a solid foundation in dispute resolution. He was part of the team engaged by the federal legislators to advice on aspects of the Petroleum Industry Bill when it was first introduced to the National Assembly. He has rendered advice on oil mining lease renewal disputes and on PPP infrastructure projects in Lagos and Kano.
